TechEmerge Sustainable Cooling in the Indian Hospitality Sector seeks innovative, climate-smart, cost-effective technologies and business models, including homegrown Indian solutions, that can meet IHCL’s cooling needs. These solutions should have the potential to be scaled across IHCL’s global business, and with other hospitality companies in India and the region more broadly. Innovations should enable thermal comfort in built environments without compromising the functionality of public areas, guest rooms, banquet halls, kitchens, laundries, and other spaces.

area 01

IoT-enabled & AI/BI augmented systems that improve overall efficiency

➡ Scalable, IoT-based innovations including field monitoring devices, meters and sensors that can collect and feed data into centralized systems that monitor energy savings, thermal comfort and indoor environmental quality.

➡ Data-driven tools and monitoring systems with centralized and distributed level controls, that deliver actionable insights in real-time across multiple locations (properties) on HVAC performance, thermal comfort, and indoor and outdoor environmental parameters including:

  • Performance of individual equipment and system-level efficiencies
  • Diagnostics on equipment health, performance characteristics, preventive maintenance, and routine maintenance scheduling
  • Remote monitoring and alerts, periodic reports, and inputs to the central monitoring dashboard for all locations (properties)
