Ashok Mirchandani brings 43 years of hands-on industry experience; over 20 of these in the cold chain logistics industry. Ashok retired as Managing Director – Asia Pacific at Carrier Transicold, a business unit of Carrier Corporation, the world leader in high technology heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions. As Managing Director – Asia Pacific, Carrier Transicold, Ashok was responsible for strategy formulation and business development for Truck / Trailer Refrigeration in India, South East Asia, Australia. New Zealand and North Asia. He was also a member of Cold Chain Task Force, which is promoted by The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to promote the development of the cold chain for food and perishables in India. Additionally, he was member of the National Center for Cold Chain Development, India and contributed to several policy formulation initiatives in this area. Ashok is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and Indian Institute of Management , Calcutta.
