Mili Majumdar is Managing Director of the Green Business Certification Institute (GBCI) in India and Senior Vice President of the U.S. Green Building Council (GBC). Ms. Majumdar is responsible for technical adaptation and customization of the portfolio of rating systems of GBCI for the Asia Pacific region. In this capacity, she leads several programs, including LEED for Cities and Communities, LEED Residential, PEER, and is working on global projects to ensure incorporation of sustainability principles at building, city, and community level. An architecture graduate and a building technologies specialist from IIT, Madras, Ms. Majumdar has more than two and half decades of experience in the field of energy, green buildings, climate resilient housing, city planning, urban transportation, and environment with a focus on sustainable development of habitats.
