Solution 5: HMX Ambiator (Indirect Direct Evaporative Cooling or IDEC) – non-refrigerant based cooling
HMX’s indirect-direct evaporative cooling (IDEC) system is a patented, scalable, energy-efficient, and 100% fresh air cooling solution. IDEC utilizes the heat of evaporation of water to cool air in two stages of evaporative cooling – indirect, followed by direct. This system has been successfully deployed in India and the Middle East to cool high occupancy indoor spaces, where cooling combined with fresh air is required for the comfort and health of the occupants.
Solution A: HMX PCU – Indirect evaporative based energy efficient treated fresh air (TFA) units
HMX PCU (pre-cooling unit) combines indirect evaporative cooling and refrigerant based cooling to cool the fresh air intake in a conditioned building in the most energy efficient manner. The PCU does not rely on the building’s return air to enable pre-cooling or energy recovery, and saves energy, CapEx and OpEx when compared to other conventional fresh air cooling systems (Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems or DOAS) , treated fresh air units (TFAs) and energy recovery units (ERUs).
Solution B: HMX DAMA E3 (Evaporative Exchange Enhanced) AHU – Hybrid air handling units
The HMX DAMA E3 AHU hybrid air handling units are an ideal replacement for conventional chilled water AHUs to increase fresh air intake up to 3 times current levels without an energy penalty. Conventional AHUs are designed to handle approximately 10-15% of their total air handling capacity as fresh air. HMX’s DAMA E3 AHU integrates indirect evaporative cooling as part of the AHU to allow the fresh air volume to be increased to 30% of the total air, without an increase in cooling coil tonnage.
Solution C: HMX Ambiator (Indirect Direct Evaporative Cooling or IDEC) – non-refrigerant based cooling
Solution-1: HMX Ambiator (indirect direct evaporative cooling or IDEC) – sustainable cooling solutions for people comfort and process cooling
Solution-2: HMX Hybridized cooling solutions based on indirect evaporative cooling
HMX’s unique indirect evaporative cooling (IEC) technology cools without adding moisture to the supply air. Hence, it can be integrated with conventional refrigerant-based cooling to provide uninterrupted temperature and humidity-controlled cooling for all weathers and regions. These “Hybridized” HMX cooling solutions save energy, CapEx and OpEx over conventional cooling systems. They have been successfully deployed in India and the Middle East in commercial and industrial settings.
