BDZ – “Zero Blowdown” for cooling towers
BDZ technology recycles the cooling tower blowdown water by precipitating and removing sparingly soluble salts, particularly silica, alkalinity and hardness enabling the treated water to be recycled back to the cooling tower for reuse as makeup water.
The BDZ works best when combined with the EST system.
The EST allows for operating the cooling towers without chemicals and significantly reduce the blowdown flow rate enabling a smaller BDZ capacity system.
