Subrata Barman works with the Infrastructure Advisory practice of IFC, leading transportation and logistics in the Asia Pacific. He has over two decades of experience in energy, water, transportation, and waste management with public and private sector clients, including market development, feasibility studies, technology transfer, and development of bankable projects in emerging markets. He helped to formulate the National Guidelines for Responsible Business in India and is a member of the International Solid Waste Association. With degrees in engineering and business management, Subrata has also worked for KPMG and PwC managing infrastructure and energy projects.
