Indian Innovator Pluss Advanced Technologies and Spar/Artee, a leading retail company in Nigeria, piloted phase change material solutions for temperature-controlled logistics. For last-mile intra-city distribution, 18ft trucks were equipped with two PCM-lined chambers, one for frozen products and the other for chilled products. For first-mile inter-city distribution, 14ft trucks carried frozen goods in a single PCM-equipped chamber alongside insulated boxes for chilled products.
